Individualized yoga sessions provide a supportive environment that promotes your optimal health and well-being. You choose the days, times, and frequency of classes. I am available from 6 am to 10pm, Tuesday through Sunday for your convenience.

This is the perfect opportunity to explore more challenging postures, incorporate pranayama (breathwork), receive hands-on assistance, or focus on a particular area of the body.

Small Group Classes

At your home, office, cottage or location of your choice.

Seed of Light offers you and the flexibility to choose classes in the privacy of your own home or other location. You choose the time of day and number of classes per week that best fit your interests. I can attend weekend gatherings and other special events to create a unique experience for all.

Class Types

From a base of Kripalu Yoga, all classes with Leah integrate concepts from Maya Yok'ha, Kundalini yoga, flow, and chakra awareness. All classes will integrate postures, flow, breathwork and meditation. The following descriptions are examples of how your classes can be focused.

Restorative.
Postures are supported by props like straps, blocks and bolsters to allow different muscle groups to relax or strengthen. Clients are guided to focus on breathwork and visualization to ease into a posture gently. This approach is ideal for someone with physical limitations due to injury or age, or an active yogi looking for a change of pace.
Deeper Exploration.
Through varied postures, pranayama, philosophy, and mudras, these classes offer the experienced and discerning student to deepen their awareness, and advance on their spiritual path of well-being. Reccommended for people with an established regular practice and curious nature.
Pre/Post Natal.
Offering mothers-to-be a special time to connect with the precious new life inside, learn relaxation techniques, strenghten and tone muscles used in childbirth, and prepare for the challenges of motherhood in a safe, supported environment. New mothers will be able to accellerate their recuperation time and get back into shape, inviting more vitality to themselves. Though yoga is safe and reccommended both during and after pregnancy, each client and pregnancy is different. Please consult with your midwife or doctor to discuss your personal case.
For "Inflexibles"
Ideal for anyone who resists yoga but would secretly like to reap its benefits. In my 4 years as an instructor, the most common phrases I have heard from people who resist yoga is "I can't do yoga, I am the most inflexible person/I am too big/too old" or "I am the worst meditator". Sound familiar? You do not have to twist yourself into a pretzle or be skinny nor do you have to keep your mind clear for 5 minutes nor levitate by the end of your session. But, Yes you can do yoga. You may not feel comfortable in a room of young bendy types, but if you can breathe and focus your mind on that breath with a gentle stretch of some muscle, even if it is just for a fleeting moment, you have done it. Yoga is more about the process of self-acceptance, and your muscles get more limber as you go. You may never touch your toes, but you can bring more peace to your life trying. Prove me wrong! Remember, your first session is 50% off!
